Aili is 8 months old today! I say this all the time...but why is it going so fast! Seriously...it is depressing, but exciting. It is sad she is growing up so fast, but fun to see her grow up and learn new things everyday.

We spent the day watching our
LDS General Conference it was amazing as usual. We watch the first session at home and for the second session we headed over to my parents house. We had a delicious dinner after conference, went on a walk because it was the most perfect weather ever, then we Skyped with my brother, sister-in-law and nephew in Boston, and ate some lemon pie. It was a great day! We even sung Happy Birthday to Aili while we Skyped...mostly for Olin (my nephew). We hope that Olin can meet Aili soon! He is her only cousin on my side of the family, and they live so far away! We hope they will be moving closer soon though!
Now take a look at this picture below. Is there any question where Aili gets her hair? That is a picture of my mother at about 11 months old. Can you believe her hair! It is seriously amazing. Its not even baby hair its like "hello I'm wearing a wig made from my adult self hair". We will see hope Aili's hair compares at 11 months.

Oh and on Friday Aili had her first tooth start poking through her gums. The things you get excited about as a mother is amazing. I was seriously so excited. It was so cute. I called Chris to tell him at work. It must have started making its way up that night because she had a rough night. Poor babies, those teeth have got to hurt!

That tooth pain is minor compared to what she has endured. She is one tough cookie and has been smiling through it all:)
