Easter 2014

We went crazy with lots of Easter egg hunts this year. We first went to our ward Easter egg hunt Saturday morning. There were a ton of eggs, but boy did they go fast! 

Then we went over to my parents house and had a little hunt in their back yard since we were not going to see them on Sunday. Aili of course loved it and then we just played for a little while. Luckily it wasn't ALL candy. The shovel, rake, and hoe are something that some kids have in our neighborhood that Aili loves to play with when they bring them to the park, so now she has her own! And she got a bug dress!

Then on Sunday we went to the Mitton's. Aili had to search for her Easter basket in the house. It was hidden in a cabinet in the kitchen. The basket had hair accessories, bubbles and a necklace. And then she went out in the back yard to find some eggs. Those eggs were special and contained both candy and money! She gets so excited when she see an egg she can go pick up. We all sat outside on the grass after they were all collected and we would grab an egg out of her basket and throw it on the grass so she could keep finding eggs. She had no idea, it was so cute and funny. Safe to say Aili had a great Easter. We should probably work on her understanding the real celebration of Easter. That will have to be next year because it was all about eggs this year.
