Aili's Birthday Party

I do not do parties. It stresses me out. We don't do big birthdays in our family, but we wanted to do something fun that Aili would enjoy. Since her birthday is in February and it is cold outside we couldn't really be outdoors. So we decided to go to the Provo Beach Resort. Aili loves riding the carousel there so that's what we did. We rented out one of their rooms just for an hour so that we could have a place to open presents and eat cake and ice cream with all of the family.

Aili was totally spoiled with gifts from everyone. She loved all of them! She loved blowing out her candles on her princess long hair cake. They next morning she had a piece of cake and we had to put a candle in it to blow out again,...and again,...and agian. She loved it.

She loved getting a Princess Long Hair and Pascal! Thanks Kyla!

She loves her books.

She loves coloring.

She loves her "Check-up". She does check ups on everyone. Future doc here.

She requested blue sunglasses from Grandpa Kirk.

She got a beautiful princess dress from Grandma Lisa. Once we started wearing it to church it was the only thing she would wear and did not want to take it off.

She has since learned how to peddle her little bike. She loves it, and is so cute on it with her kitty helmet.

Cake to her really means frosting...that's all she wants.

Then we just went and spent way too much money riding the carousel...they basically steal money from your pockets to ride these fake horses. If it didn't bring so much dang joy to my child! Then we spent more money for us to just play some of the games. Everyone else was on their own to do what they wanted. So we all just played games. I thought it was really fun!

How could you not spend an arm and a leg riding fake horses for that cute face! She LOVES it!

We love our little Aili so much! Couldn't imagine our life without her! We are so glad that she is growing up healthy and strong and that we get to have so much fun with her. I hope she had a great birthday! We love our two year old!...we have a two year old....crazy.
