Swimming, Father's Day, and Boating

Aili loves the water. She sees water....she wants to get into it. She loved swimming last year. So we knew she would love it even more now that she is a little older. We are lucky enough to have a couple swimming pools to go to. We have a swimming pool at our condo complex, and my grandma and grandpa have a pool.

Our Father's day gifts this year required some of Aili's expert painting skills. Here are some pictures of the paint mess. Our father's day was great. We went to church, dropped off Grandpa Dave's gift and chatted with and played with them for a little while. Then we went to my parents house for an amazing dinner. Filet mignon, scallops, muscles, calamari, shrimp, green beans with bacon, and cauliflower "mashed potatoes". I ate so much, but it was so worth it because it all was AMAZING. Thanks parents!

Pretty messy.

This week we went boating with Grandpa Dave, and uncle Andy and Jason. Aili had a lot of fun. If the boat wasn't moving she wanted to jump in the water. If the boat was moving she loved it. We all wake boarded and then went into a little cover for Aili to get in and float around. She even did a little tubing of her own! She loved it! The cold water didn't even phase her. When I jumped in a started screaming because it was so cold and made Aili cry. We had so much fun being out on the lake. I haven't been wake boarding in a couple years I forgot how fun it is!
