Christmas this year was very busy. Since both of our families live so close we try to spend as much time with both of them as possible. My family is big on Christmas Eve, that is when they have the big dinner so we spend Christmas Eve night with them. (Christmas Eve day we just spent being lazy at our own house.) We had a delicious dinner. Again it was great to have Logan, Kristen, and Olin live closer so that the could spend Christmas with us. And we had Pilvi too, so it was a lot of fun!

Then we were very fortunate to have Santa and his elf Snorky come visit us on their very busy night. Olin was very excited to meet Santa. It was too bad that Logan and Sean weren't there to meet them!

Aili also decided she was really going to start walking this night! She LOVES my brothers dogs, she follows them everywhere and watches their every move. So this was great motivation for her to start walking. We wish we could have stayed later and played games with everyone else, but Aili doesn't do well sleeping in places other than her crib, and we had a long Christmas day ahead of us, so we went home to get some rest. Well Aili did. Chris and I stayed up and watched The Santa Clause. My favorite Christmas show! It is so good, I have pretty much the whole thing memorized. Too bad they ruined it with The Santa Clause 2 & 3.
